According to anonymous sources, low-income housing has been plagued by increased criminal activity in recent weeks. Sources also claim there have been suspected metahumans living in this area, some of whom have gone missing. Multiple witnesses claim that at several scenes, the missing metas have appeared on the side of notable criminals in the city's syndicates. One witness suspects there may be a recruiting service going on, but there is no solid evidence of this.
Some claim the meta criminals are a direct response to the uprising of meta vigilantes.
