Romy is a German Jew raised by a single mother, who happened to be a popular model. Ever since she was young, Romy was involved in the modeling industry, both in Germany and in Hope City when they moved to America when Romy was only eleven. Even in Germany, Romy had been a part of the modeling scene -- despite the large, fox-like ears attached to her head. The Germans, being German, thought it was kind of charming, and liked to see photos of her with her mother. Moving to America, things were different. She was often met with what can only be described nicely as opposition, because she was basically a freak. She matured quickly physically, and had long, slender limbs early on; by the time she was fifteen, she could have passed as eighteen because of her mature face and curvy body. The four years between moving to America and then, she filled with plenty of religion; she turned to Hashem during these times especially, because entering high school with ears like that and a body like hers with an accent and a religion that weren't the "norm" was very difficult. She worked very hard in school to get the best grades, and still accompanied her mother to photo shoots when she could; it was that way that she was able to get her foot in the door and win photographers over with her good looks and natural charm in front of the camera. Photoshop made it easy to get rid of the ears, after all. But on top of schoolwork, Romy insisted on learning to defend herself; just getting herself out there in the modeling world and accomplishing great things academically and for Synagogue were not enough to fend off the attacks of her classmates in the poorly run and underfunded public school. Her mother was a popular model and had money, but not enough as a single woman to actually move her out of Hope City to the nearest private school. So, Romy picked up kung fu. She did it very well, in fact. And then she turned seventeen, and her second and primary mutant power kicked in; she was suddenly able, she found, to manipulate the very earth just with the power of her mind. The kung fu training helped her to control it even in the beginning, but as she trained in her martial art, she applied the discipline and the forms to help with her geokinesis. Now, at twenty, she's in Central University, and she's studying English Literature between long nights of fighting crime, writing papers, modeling, and having a social life. Kind of. Romy's mother died when she was eighteen in a car accident, leaving everything to Romy; she gave up mostly everything to move into the old mill with the "team" to fight the people who make the city as terrible as it was for her growing up.
So let's see how our characters can get together! Friends shouldn't be too difficult; Romy is a social butterfly, without a doubt. She always has been, always will be. She is very opinionated, however, and stubborn as a mule. She's also Jewish, and dedicated to her faith, so she won't accept anyone who isn't into that. They don't have to be Jewish as well, but at least they can't be Dr. House and try to debunk her faith every three seconds. But she loves debating, she loves meeting new people, and she loves eating live mice. So any friends will have to put up with the possibility that this will happen. She's not a particularly affectionate girl, at least with her casual friends, but she'll get a little more comfortable touching others with a few drinks in her. And being half German, half Irish? She can hold her booze. And she loves to drink socially. She loves to cook for her guests, as well, as long as they don't mind keeping Kosher. Enemies
are far more frequently emerging in Romy's life; anyone who has shit to say about her ears, her religion, or her dead mother will definitely not be on Romy's good side. And anyone who is a "bad guy," they'd be enemies. Romy still has a chip on her shoulder and a fiery Irish-German temper behind the knowledge of how terrible the city is and how its inhabitants are like something out of a comic book. Anything reminding her of that will not sit well with her, and she's likely to lash out. She doesn't take disrespect lightly, either. Anyone who shows any kind of violence towards women? Ohhh, no. She will kick your teeth out if she can manage! But as for Lovers, Romy is a little . . . well, not "easy," but she is very openly sexual and has a very European sense of sex being for fun and feeling good. Her mother being a model and growing up in Germany will do that to a young lady, perhaps. Finding someone to share her bed would not be hard; she has the sultry looks and the foreign accent, and she likes boys and girls and anything in between. She finds beauty in most people, and enjoys the aesthetics of the human body. She's not a slut, because she respects herself and knows how to say "no," but she has been called this plenty of times. But anyone involving him or herself with Romy must know that she doesn't do monogamy very well -- an open relationship is what you're getting with her, and she'll tell you up front. She likes to think that if you get into things with her after that, it can't be called cheating. Her relationships are very complicated and often fast, hot, and passionate, and then burn out quickly. Not that she minds, as long as the sex is good. So that's quite a lot! But it should give you plenty to work with when deciding what should go on between our characters. Just give me some background information, what kind of relationship you think they'd have, and why, and we'll work out the details together! Get creative with what you've got; it'll be more fun that way♥ [/blockquote][/blockquote]

MILO AND ROMY Awkward flirting and a legitimate attraction to strong women has put this ladies' man at odds with his usual suave behaviour. Besties imminent, lovers eventually and hopefully something more? Milo's still new to the ~team~ but man does he carry a torch for Romy's foxy body and demeanor. How could he not?

milo & romy Of course Romy would be besties with this nerdo! These are all super good things. This is why they're a three-year OTP without even knowing it. ♥ But she'd love the silly and derpy flirting, and the awkward way that he'd shy away from everything that might actually turn into something real. But their interactions and their time being on the team and having to learn to trust each other would totes make for a very steamy intense relationship. Also, they're too pretty not to be loverssssss.

MILO && BRENDAN
Well we already have our beginning planned out. Little Brendan has been on the run for the past few months now. A group of Meta hunters possibly working for the government or something have been trying to hunt him down. They've come close before, but now their hot on his tail and the only way out is a five story drop to the ground, good thing he can't feel nothing right! So that's where the marvelous Romy comes into play. I'm thinking that at first he is very nervous around them thinking they are trying to hunt him down too. But once they help get rid of his pursuers he will see her as some sort of guardian. And soon enough their relationship will blossom, and become very close friends. He will begin to even consider her like a surrogate mother or older sister really. Mainly due to the fact he's never had one, but he sure needs one. I'm sure these two will be hilarious around one another, and hopefully she can help him come to terms with his powers as well he fears them incredibly.

brendan & romy Of course this is a lovely start. Romy would be more than happy to put the hurt on anti-Meta hunters in her city, being super pro-Meta and being the target of hate and bullying because of her physical mutation for years in both Germany and the States. So she has no patience for that kind of attitude. And even though she'd think that it's a little bit gross for Brendan to just be walking around and healing himself on the go, she'd be determined to help him find a place where he isn't so at odds with his power. Even though it would freak her out a little bit as well, but you know. And of course it'd be adorbs for them to adopt each other as siblings--Romy is an only child, and raised in a single parent home, so collecting siblings is kind of her thing. Trinity is already a sister to her, but keeping a younger brother-type around and helping him through crises and hanging out would totally be right up her alley. The more, the merrier, AMIRITE? I want to say that it'd be interesting for her to fit this particular power into her life with her Judaism, because on one hand, it's cheating death, but on the other, she believes that Hashem made people metas for a very good and meaningful purpose; so reconciling these two beliefs without turning Brendan into a religious anomaly instead of a person will be interesting. Additionally, I'm not positive about adding Brendan onto their ~team~ per se, but it'd be fun, I think, to have him kind of hang out around the mill, where Romy lives. It'd be fun to play out the group dynamic and whether Brendan would be seen as an "intruder" or if he'd be welcome as a friend, or what.

ROMY && BRENDANWell of course these two can addopt each other, besides adopting people is fun as for the whole paradox i love it. It has the potential to be absolutely hilarious as he would probably get extremely confused as to what she is talking about. Especially if he dies or something in front of her and then it he just stands back up, i'm guessing she'd be like thats not supposed to happen ahhh. but yea that little dynamic will be awesome. As for joining the team, Brendan is definitely not the type to be going around and fighting after all his powers are defensive so he'd kinda be in the way. but for hanging around the mill house i'm sure he'd love to be able to visit, and possibly help out where he can ((cus well he is very intelligent and picks things up fast)). as for seeing if they accept him or not i totally agree. maybe after the incident they could take him back to the mill house to sort of question him or something. could lead to him meeting the other members of that team, and let them get a sense of him. Afterwords he will most likely just try and go on his own way. he still needs to figure out his powers and now that he has found people like him he wont stray away for too long. possibly become a sort of groupie/sidekick for Romy or something hahah, trying to help out where he can but not actually be on the team but rather just be an ally. also helping him figure out his powers would be great. or at least helping him test his limitations by testing him or something. could get really interesting.

brendan & romy I'm not sure that Romy would be up for helping Brendan hurt himself for the sake of testing his power directly, but she would be there to support him from the sidelines. I know my Daisuke would totally be into that kind of thing, but Romy wouldn't be comfortable--at least at first--getting hands on with things like "WHAT HAPPENS IF WE DO THIS OHOHO IT'S SCIENCE." But I like everything else. ;D I approve of these things and am excited to try them out.
