Everyone has a cell phone in this day and age! Especially in towns where criminals have super powers.

It's easy to IM someone when you don't feel like picking up the phone. Everyone does it! From AIM to MSN and all the nonsense in between, get your fix of hour-long conversations with your buddies.

Starbucks has taken over the job of providing anything caffeinated to approximately thirty zillion people; Hope City's no exception!

The Stuffed Olive is a huge hangout for college-aged adults especially; rumored to be run and funded by mob bosses, the security is a little lax when it comes to checking IDs. But they have good music and serve good (but expensive) drinks, so who cares?

One of the largest libraries in the city, The Free Library is struggling to continue. Funding cuts on an almost yearly basis have left it with far fewer books on its shelves, forced to hold book sales to keep the place running. It seems to be at the mercy of those kind enough to donate, but continues to chug along merrily, happy to serve anyone with a library card. This is also one of the places where paper copies of the indie newspaper are available for free to anyone who might not have internet access.

The largest bank in the city, of course this is bound to be the target of some form of nastiness. But it's full of rent-a-cops, so at least make it fun!

The City Hall of Hope City. Politics, crime, and other deplorable acts take place within its walls; that's before the criminals get to it.

Officially named the Schilling River, this body of water is affectionately called Cement River by anyone who's lived there for any length of time. Any local will tell you that it's a great place to dump a body or any other unwanted evidence of guilt. It's up to the tourists to figure out if it's said jokingly or not.

The Flying Carpet is a new cafe that specializes in Mediterranean food and gourmet muffins. The french dark chocolate chip muffins are a definite favorite, especially heated up in the microwave. They serve organic teas, fresh brewed coffee, and after four, they open up their bar. Though it's a small space, it's very comfortable and a welcoming atmosphere. The owner's dog, Hugo Boss, is frequently found laying by the front door.

Chiam Rozenthall opened this establishment almost three decades ago. These days Chiam is an old man and his grandson, Avi helps him around the shop. They have the leanest roast beef in the state.

This slightly run-down facility is known to disregard safety regulations by local people, but nothing is ever done about it. Dirty money changes hands frequently and occasionally the Schilling River is on the receiving end of toxic dumps.

A little family-owned and operated sweetshop on the outskirts of Hope City. Sweet Sensations boasts their own home-pulled taffy and homemade fudge.

What was once the mill's storage space has become the heroes' storage space. The wide open floor with partitions rather than walls serves to create an open but organized space with the various collections and information-gathering centers.

The third floor of the makeshift Superhero Headquarters is mostly a simple, large open space with only two rooms at the two northernmost corners. The rest of the space is divided up by function and serves as the general day-to-day living space for the young heroes.

The second floor of the old, abandoned mill building turned headquarters for the team of young super heroes consist of four rooms to each the farthest sides-eats and west-connected by a single hallway down the middle with vast spaces to the north and south of the railed's hall, floor less and open to view the first floor below.

The first floor of Hope City's abandoned old mill building is used primarily to house the various vehicles the local team of super heroes keep to get to the scene of a crime quickly and efficiently.

Kick it hardcore in here. Do something silly. Talk about Harry Potter. Play some games. Whateeeevs.
